Job purpose

The purpose of the Regional HR BP Europe role is to be a high performing business partner supporting the Europe Regional Commercial Operations. The Regional HR BP will be responsible for the HR BP support to the regional HQ population as well as to the functions in the entire region. The Regional HR BP will ensure the deployment of large-scale HR initiatives, programs and processes across the organization; develop and deploy standard best practices; coordinate HR Program activities in accordance with legal, divisional, and corporate guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Acts as a business partner to the regional team in Holzkirchen and provide tactical and strategic HR support
• Drives HR programs to support the functions to develop capabilities throughout the region Europe
• Aligns all HR programs and processes for the Region with both the short/long-term business objectives with a focus on alignment with the Novartis values and behaviors
• Facilitates feedback processes including administration, communication and action-planning connected with the GES as well as any other feedback processes
• Identifies, develops and deploys initiatives and best practices in communications, talent acquisition, performance management, learning and development, total rewards for performance and other relevant areas that encourage employee retention, job satisfaction and positive morale
• Provides guidance related to Region and Global HR Programs and Policies, collaborate to develop and deploy business-driven HR strategies designed to create a high-performance, sustainable organization capable of achieving the business objectives
• Drives the performance management process to help raise the bar for individual performance, measure sustained improvements and improve goal-setting; create a performance enhancing culture
• Supports the development and execution of talent acquisition plans that anticipate short/long-term business needs for Europe Commercial Organization
• The scope of responsibility includes Europe HQ in Holzkirchen

• Bachelor Degree is required while a Master degree would be preferred
• Fluency in English is a pre-requisite while any additional language would be considered as a plus
