Job Purpose

You will support the design, implementation and continuous improvement of an effective Compliance program with specific focus on interactions with HCPs, Anti-Bribery, Conflicts of Interest, as well as relevant healthcare laws and regulations and industry codes. You will also support the development and execution of effective Risk Assessment and Monitoring and remediation activities in the European region.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Compliance Risk Assessment program in the entire region in close collaboration with Local Compliance Officers (LCOs). Including:
a. Facilitate and oversee in-country compliance risk assessment by LCOs with key stakeholders, provide support and coaching as required
b. Oversee and consolidate risk assessment data from markets
c. Conduct above-country regional risk assessment
d. Develop and track remediation associated with compliance risk assessment.

• Conduct in-country monitoring and compliance assessments, in close collaboration with RCO and LCOs
a. Communicate deviations to the business, develop appropriate remediation plans, and follow-up with countries to ensure adequate implementation of those actions.
b. Identify areas of improvement in countries’ systems and/or processes to increase efficiency and strengthen effectiveness.
c. Foster an advisory, proactive and collaborative approach regarding Local Compliance Programs.

• Assess annually compliance related Controls, including management of control remediation for the countries and consolidation for the Region
• Conduct thorough analytic reviews and create executive management reporting related to compliance risks
• Develop methodologies and support LCOs with their local monitoring activities and plans
• Cross-division/region/function sharing of insights and trends to drive proactive re-view/action plans to avoid recurrence of risks and issues across boundaries.
• Support ad hoc compliance projects, including implementation and tracking of key program initiatives.

Mindestanforderungen

The ideal candidate will have


• University Degree in business, finance, law or other relevant subject matter; Advanced degree preferred
• Fluent English, plus local country language as deemed relevant
• Minimum 4-6 years of experience in in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industries
• Comprehensive understanding of compliance programs, applicable policies and relevant Country and Regional legislation in Europe
• Ability to critically analyze and conduct program assessments, including risk assessment, compliance assessments, as well as transaction testing
• Good organization and oversight and proven ability to lead complex projects and collaborate within and across cross-functional teams and business units, in a ma-trixed environment
• Experience in a compliance, risk or assurance role
• Knowledge of healthcare laws and regulations, of Compliance Program structure and administration; Compliance Certification status a plus
• Project Management
• Results driven, focused and problem solving
• Effective communication/presentation skills with all management levels
