Procurement Manager (m/f/d)
- in Freiburg i.Br. or in the greater Frankfurt area -

Your challenges:
• Aligns country objectives with global strategy and local laws, rules and regulations; and ensures implementation at a country level.
• Business Partner to key leadership executives to ensure the alignment of procurement objectives with business needs; exerts influence to facilitate the achievement of Procurement projects.
• Ensures availability and usage of Procurement systems and tools and ensures consistent tracking of savings, cash flow and other Procurement KPIs, according to policies.
• Demonstrates deep expertise related to the identification, implementation and continuous improvement of sourcing best practices and processes.
• Works closely with Country CFO(s) to drive and fully implement continuous innovation and improvement initiatives to optimize the Procurement structure, process and contribution.
• Aligns local Procurement policies with Global standards.
• Overall leadership and accountability for the achievement of Procurement objectives across the Country.
• Reviews annual Procurement business plans for top sites, ensuring full alignment with divisional goals and targets; identifies, prioritizes and coordinates opportunities for national, regional and global initiatives.
• Provides regional benchmarking, market intelligence and insight related to key commercial and corporate categories such as Agencies, Media, Meetings, Contingent Labor, Professional Services etc
• Program manages and plays a lead role in contract formation and negotiations with top wholesalers and distributors, ensuring optimum, market-competitive fee structure, inventory levels, and value-added services.
• Develops segmentation strategy, to include model and approach for smaller wholesalers



You will need:
• Bachelor’s degree required at a minimum, Master’s degree preferred; in fields such as business administration, finance, law or a scientific or technical field. Strong preference for CIPS or similar professional qualification.
• Chartered Accountant preferred
• 5+ years of Procurement and leadership experience
• Solid experience leading and developing teams within a matrix organization and across geographies and cultures.
• Solid experience in change and category management.
• Leadership and strong results delivered in complex negotiations and projects
