We are currently hiring a

Manager Strategy Planning & Projects (m/f/d)

to work in our Nuremberg office.

As Manager Strategy Planning & Projects (m/f/d) you will lead, drive, manage and ensure excellence in planning processes in our Business Unit Oncology with strategic planning, business reviews and tactical planning across all phases of the Product-Life-Cycle and across all business franchises. You will support the Head of Business Excellence and Operation as well as the General Manager for Germany in their decision making through sound analysis, strategic thinking and recommendations and by leading and managing special projects as well as cross-functional initiatives and activities. You are a sparring partner for the Head of BEO and a central figure in influencing and contributing to the organizational strategy and its implementation.

Your tasks

• Coordination of Strategy Planning, Business Reviews, Brand Planning and Tactical Planning
• Coordination of internal and external key strategic events such as the annual country cycle meeting
• Supporting and driving key cross-functional strategic projects
• Supporting Head of BEO & General Manager with various analysis, internal & external presentations, and periodic & ad-hoc reports.
• Stay on top of market trends and changes in the competitive landscape, and share appropriate insights with the team
• Frame and break down complex business problems into key components, design analysis to drive insights and answers to critical questions, and recommend practical solutions to get results
• Collect & analyze data, information, and research (e.g., market data, competitive analysis, etc.) through quantitative and qualitative mechanisms to make decisions on critical strategic issues
• Developing Meaningful & Actionable insights through various internal and external data sources on industry trends, competition, regulation and patients and providers
• Develops and maintains reports/market intelligence on market growth, business trends, and competitive information to support planning processes.
• Collaborate across various functions and divisions to generate strategic insights and to find innovative solutions and supporting senior leadership on diverse set of topics and initiatives.
• Strategy partner to the Business Franchises and other support functions in supporting decision-making, planning and execution.
• Key Speaker for the Region and Global functions on strategy & various country specific topics.



Marketing


Mindestanforderungen

• University degree in Science and/or degree in Business Management or Economics, advanced degree such as Master’s Degree and/or MBA Preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in Pharma/Biotech sales and/or marketing, alternatively experience in the Medical department
• Prior working experience in Strategy / Planning / Consulting preferred
• Demonstrated strategic thinking abilities, strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Prior management consulting experience will be a plus
• Strong analytical skills and strategic mindset.
• Experience developing or overseeing quantitative analysis and deriving insights
• Strong Networking and Lateral Leadership
• Track record of strong business project management skills ideally with ability to manage multiple teams working on different projects simultaneously
• Ability to persuade and influence individuals and groups across the matrix without direct management authority
• Strong communication skills (oral, written, and presentation) as well as language proficiency in English and German is a MUST
