For our Pharma/Oncology organisations based in Nürnberg we are currently looking for the new

Head Integrity & Compliance (m/f/d)

Purpose of the job:

As an important member of the Executive Committee your will enable compliant, ethical business conduct by driving the implementation of the Novartis Compliance Program, including all related policies and governance frameworks for Code of Conduct (CoC), Anti-Bribery (AB), Conflict of Interest (COI) and Professional Practices Policies (P3) and Guidelines

Your responsibilities are amongst others:

• Ensure assessment of compliance risks, coverage, skills and resources and
develop upgrade plans
• Implementation of Group Integrity & Compliance initiatives and general
compliance activities at the local level
• Drive exchange, communication and alignment also between Division
Country Compliance Officers and represent the local I&C Function at local
Executive Comittee
• Collaborate and partner closely with business leadership and other functions
to lead the compliance risk management process and identify and manage
risks in a manner that drives the business forward to best serve the patients
• Support the local business-owned implementation of Global Compliance
policies and Guidelines, and provide guidance on local SOPs and processes
development, as applicable
• Actively engage in local external and internal Compliance networks to shape
and influence the environment and identify emerging trends/best practices
• Engage local leaders to continually monitor the effectiveness of the
Compliance program, including cultural drivers of integrity for continuous
improvement
• Conduct local communication, training, and monitoring activities to support
awareness, detection and prevention goals
• Depending on the organizational setup (Pharma or Oncology) the positon
may entail team leadership responsibility

Mindestanforderungen

This is your background:

• University degree
• 5-7 years of work experience within the pharmaceutical, medical device or
healthcare industries with relevant exposure to compliance function or related
components preferred
• Proven ability to lead complex projects and collaborate within and across
cross-functional teams and business units in a matrixed environment
• People Management experience (line management experience is not
mandatory)
• Crisis Management and Project Management experience
• Results driven, focused and problem solving personality
• Effective communication/presentation skills with all management levels
• Strong collaborator, networking and relationship management skills
• Strong analytical skills (qualitative and quantitative aspects)
• Agile personality with desire to excel in the role and progress in the personal
career
• Fluent in German and English
