Job purpose

The purpose of the Head Global Market Research, Analytics & CI role is to lead the Global Marketing Analytics function and provide guidance and solutions on market research, analytics and competitive intelligence topics.

Key Responsibilities

• Leads Market Research, Analytics & CI team and provide strategic direction to the Biopharma leadership team by timely informing on key external market information
• Manages high performing team of content experts focusing in Forecasting, business analytics, competitive intelligence and market research
• Develops comprehensive analytics process, systems, models and reporting structure
• Provides analysis and produces reports from available data bases, analyst reports, and other available data sources
• Champion innovation in developing marketing science solutions; bring latest tools, methodologies and other industries knowledge to BU teams
• Explain and present market differences across countries, and across brands, based on robust research and analysis
• Proactively address market needs, gathers data and provides input on brand and market related topics into the global brand plans
• Create insights about country and market dynamics and our brands performance, identify opportunities
• Manages and oversees both qualitative and quantitative market research with external virtual team. Guides and challenges internal marketing teams in all market research activities
• Provide comprehensive leadership to prioritize activities, conduct competitive assessments, identify trends, opportunities and threats on our brand issues and implement corresponding measures/KPIs
• Participate in strategic planning and forecasting exercise for both Biopharma BU at global and local level
• Builds cross-functional relationships within Biopharma BU – including country teams, Finance, Marketing, Commercial Operations

Mindestanforderungen

The ideal candidate will have

• Degree, master degree or PhD in marketing, business administration, mathematics, natural sciences
• Fluency in oral and written English; other languages are a plus
• Relevant experience in global/regional market analytics and research in supporting global or local brands in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to successfully lead a team size of 8-10
• Budget responsibility – experience in managing >€2 Million budget
• Extensive experience in working with senior management and operating in international multi-nationality environment
• Supporting or leading forecasting and strategic planning process
• Solid experience to effectively and efficiently navigate different and major data sources with a strong understanding of most appropriate management reporting structure
• Strong analytic skills with particular attention to detail, accuracy and follow through
• Strong acumen to understand the clinical data and trials to be able to interpret the impact and timelines of launches
• Experience in Managing CI war-gaming and developing scenario planning
