Job purpose

The Head Commercial Oncology Biopharma will have the Commercial leadership to maximize opportunity of Franchise Product Portfolio by providing strategic input and ensuring all key commercial aspects of an Integrated Product Strategy are considered and delivered, by supporting/driving execution of outreach activities to the external community via communication, publication, education and congress activities and by defining country launch and commercialization plans in alignment with Country Management and Commercial Operations

Key Responsibilities

• Commercial leadership providing key strategic guidance and commercial deliverables
• Generation of in-depth patient, market and competitive understanding identifying trends and opportunities on a world-wide basis
• Evaluation of biosimilar opportunity delivering forecasts of sales (incl. market, market share, pricing), supply volumes and M&S costs for strategic planning and budget cycles
• Prepare Integrated Biosimilar Product Strategy / Customer Plans (depending on program stage) ensuring external stakeholder Focus (patients, physicians, pharmacists, nurses, payors) and build internal knowledge across the organization
• Define product strategy including Target Product Profile and technical Target Product Profile influencing product design (primary and secondary packaging, manufacturing)
• Provide input and fact base for decisions on clinical trial and registration strategies
• Support development of communication plan and tools to create awareness and providing education and information for investigators, site personnel, and potential patients to support clinical trial execution and market preparation
• Contribute to effective scientific and medical communication of data from the program including publications and key congresses
• Generation of value proposition, positioning, key messages and branding concept
• Ensure preparation of market access strategy and value dossier
• Initiate internal global commercialisation and launch planning with Commercial Operations

Mindestanforderungen

The ideal candidate will have

• A business and/or science degree is required. MD, science PhD or MBA is desirable
• 10+ years’ experience in Health Care industry
• In-country or regional pharmaceutical leadership position(s) a plus
• Experience within marketing (either from industry or consultancy background). Therapeutic area knowledge desirable
• Strong leadership capabilities and proven track record of building high performing teams
• Superior ability to communicate, collaborate effectively, and push projects through/across a global company
• Ability to work and influence for desired outcomes in a cross-functional and matrix set-up
• Independent and accountable style of working
• Ability to prioritize and drive decision making paired with being results and impact oriented
• Out of the box, disruptive and innovative thinking
• High degree of self-motivation and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• English fluent, another international language is beneficial
