Job purpose:

Contribute on product pipeline that reach more than 500 million patients every year!
Establish clear product strategy to maximize commercial success and govern product until launch in collaboration with all relevant stakeholders across Novartis Group.


Your Responsibilities:

• Own opportunity generation process for specific focus areas and pro-actively manage the ‘idea pool’
• Lead a cross-functional team through idea creation, selection and allocation of new product opportunities in a timely manner and ensure on time allocation of product
• Apply most applicable evaluation approach e.g. from highly mechanistic for standard generics to in depths evaluation including detailed commercial model definition for complex products
• Develop deep understanding of competitor moves especially in the VAM space with a focus on assigned therapeutic area
• Develop excellent medical, scientific and commercial understanding of market desired
• Fully understands business cases including competitive landscape, clinical and regulatory requirements and other potential external factors.

What you’ll bring to the role:

• Clarity and alignment of documentation for GPC
• Timely allocation of candidate to enable launch at LoE
• Value (5 Years sales) generated through selections
• Share of innovation in newly allocated projects
• Share of projects delivering against product strategy

Mindestanforderungen

Desirable Requirements:

• Degree in Business or Science
• Fluent in English
• At least 5 years of experience in product evaluation / portfolio management or project management More than 7 years of experience in the pharma / generics industry
• Analytical skills and strategic thinking ability
• Experienced communication skills and creative mindset
• Strong leadership & collaboration skills
• Knowledge of Excel and usage of databases
• Advanced know-how on therapeutic areas is plus
• Development expertise a plus
• Experience in Market access, branding and pricing a plus
