Job purpose

The purpose of the Global Manager Market Research, Analytics & CI role is to support the Biopharma Business Unit with high quality primary market research, market assessments, data analysis / reporting, forecasting and competitive intelligence.

Key Responsibilities

• Develops comprehensive data analytics process/models/systems and business insights
• Gathers market data, creates insights about market dynamics and brand performance and provide inputs for brand plans
• Conducts primary market research to inform and support brand strategy; Identify and answer key business question
• Ensures data quality – provide solutions for data gap challenges and ensure consistency between regional and global data sources
• Consults with marketing teams on tracking competitors’ performance through regular updates of dashboards and launch trackers, and provide strategic recommendations based on analysis
• Works closely with internal and external Competitive Intelligence Partners to ensure a prompt tracking of competitor activities
• Supports the annual strategic planning process by providing market analysis, forecasting models and assumption validation
• Builds strong cross-functional relationships e.g. Biopharma BU country organizations, Finance, Development, Medical
• Manages relationship with external data/PMR venders and coordinate with offshore PLS team

Mindestanforderungen

The ideal candidate will have

• Degree, master degree or PhD in marketing, business administration, mathematics, natural sciences
• Fluency in oral and written English; other languages are a plus
• Significant experience in market analytics supporting local or global brands in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry
• Strong knowledge and experience of working with a variety of data sources and IT applications
• Extensive experience in both quantitative and qualitative primary market research projects, e.g. ATU, patient journey, campaign and positioning messaging test
• Proven ability to create insights from competitive intelligence, market research data and translate into commercially relevant information for decision making
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to successfully interact with and lead cross-functional teams and internal/external stakeholders
• International experience with ability to influence for desired outcomes in a cross-functional and matrix set-up
• Independent and accountable style of working
• Ability to prioritize and drive decision making
