30% of WE ESO procurement spends, this is the budget our new FDF Category manager for South Europe will have to optimize.

- Within the ESO Procurement Western Europe team, Lead commercial management of suppliers for South Europe: Spain, Italy, Portugal
- Lead and take global responsibility for Suppliers with regards to financial terms and conditions to ensure targeted savings
- Act as Lead Buyer for global accounts within the responsibility area to ensure alignment with NTO ESO (SRT in Holzkirchen)
- Lead Contract management including negotiations, amendments, prolongations, commercial claims for new and/or existing suppliers within the responsibility area
- Act as a procurement SPOC within the SRT and lead joint efforts to ensure continuous improvement and generate savings/value creation opportunities
- Prepare financial budgets, cost savings methodologies and ensure proper reporting in alignment with finance
- Lead evaluation of complex global projects with third parties to support make or buy decisions, transfers, divestments, due diligences and sourcing point evaluations.
- Run RfXs and coordinate all activities with involved functions (e.g. MS&T, QA, HSE, SC) related to compli-ance, audits, tax, funds flow, investments etc. and prepare business cases for decision making
- Assure business continuity for strategic accounts in alignment with SRT stakeholders
- Manage price requests to the supplier within the existing agreements.
- Update Finance Standard prices



- Bachelor’s degree in business or economics
- Fluent in English (additional Southern European languages are a plus)
- Commercial negotiation skills
- Minimum 3 years professional experience in the pharmaceutical industry or fast moving consumer goods area
- Excellent computer skills required (MS Access/MS Excel)
- Strong analytical capabilities required
