Sandoz is currently recruiting for a ESO QA Team Lead Compliance Oversight (m/f) to provide leadership and manage Quality Assurance Managers for ESO QA Systems and Compliance n all quality-elated matters and to ensure that all aspects of the operational business comply within the ESO regional and technology platforms comply with cGMP legal and regulatory requirements and the Novartis Quality Manual and Policies.


Key Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, direction and support to Quality Managers and ensure that they are qualified, achieve a high level of competence and are motivated to carry out their duties in a safe manner
• Communicate and align with relevant stakeholders, e.g. Technical Operations, Material Supply, Development and Commercial Operations, on ESO QA processes (e.g. High Risk Supplier management) and any associated KQIs
• ESO Management Oversight: Oversight of ESO Sub-Platform-specific KQIs and performance indicators including for the Suppliers managed by other platforms (e.g., Country Quality)
• Support the training and implementation of ESO processes and SOPs within the ESO Sub-Platforms and for the Suppliers managed by other platforms
• Support and co-ordinate activities where Suppliers are managed across platforms for all ESO and NTO relevant processes e.g., escalations, High Risk Supplier Management etc. Participate in ESO sub-platform meetings and provide sub-platform relevant reporting
• Support the implementation of ESO projects within the ESO sub-platforms

The ideal candidate will have

• University degree or equivalent in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biology or related subject
• A minimum of 5 years experience in the pharmaceutical industry, e.g. in Production/ Technical Operations and/or Quality Assurance
• A minimum of 2 years in Quality Assurance, ideally leadership experience
• Additional knowledge in Quality Assurance and/or Compliance Experience
• Thorough knowledge of cGMP requirements
• Collaborative team player
• Strong analytical skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, including leadership, organisational,
analytical, intercultural communication and negotiation
• Experience in an international matrix organization
• English fluent in speaking and writing, second language desirable
