Stellenbeschreibung

• Provide operational guidance to ICT(International Clinical Team) of assigned clinical programs in preparing external budget for trials
• Ensure the timely and accurate preparation and approval of the Life Time Cost (LTC) of the trial
• Ensure accuracy of global financial planning and reporting of assigned clinical trials, including external budget forecast
• Ensure external budget for trials is managed in compliance with Biopharma Finance processes
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of external budget for program/project in the clinical planning and reporting tools
• Manage financial requirements of clinical program budget and liaise with ICT and CTT (Clinical Trial Team) regarding forecasts and status of program timelines
• Ensure clinical trial planning and budgeting tools are accurate regarding timelines and financial estimate. Develop and apply department specific finance metrics.
• Implement efficient standard budget control systems which are aligned with internal controlling systems (e.g. NFCM)
• Supporting the CTTs with invoice controlling related tasks to ensure accurate reflection of stage of completion of deliverables and project status, as well as guiding the clinical teams with recommendations in reimbursement claims



Research & Development


Mindestanforderungen

• Degree in business or/and natural sciences or any other comparable education
• 2-5 years of pharmaceutical industry experience with proven knowledge of processes related clinical trials and managing related finance
• Previous experience in either clinical operations or finance/controlling, in a healthcare environment
• Knowledge of clinical development processes and guidelines
• Experience in working with electronic databases, clinical and/or project management planning and reporting systems
• Proven effective communication and strong presentation skills
• Proficiency in English is a must with, knowledge of German is preferred
• Ability to work on cross-functional global teams and being the interface between development and finance departments
• Open, convincing personality with consultative mind set
