Job Purpose

You will support Senior Management by preparing financial data as the basis for decision making. Provide tools and expertise to the overall Business Planing and Analysis function. You will also manage financial processes to ensure effective and timely delivery of insightful financial information - recurring or ad-hoc.

• To review, validate, and challenge large investment or divestment proposals, including profitability calculations and business-cases
• To manage the divisional capital investment process, including taking meeting minutes, follow-up on executed projects
• To take the lead in developing and consolidating a five-year financial plan, including preparing management presentations
• To carry out value-added financial analyse and recommending crisp and clear proposals
• To support the Global Head BPA Manager StratPlan Fin&CapInvest on ad-hoc requests, including strategic analyses and senior management presentations
• Key interfaces include: Divisional CFO, Global Head BPA, Sandoz Executive Committee Members, Regional & Functional CFOs and BPAs

Mindestanforderungen

The ideal candidate will have

• University degree with superior marks, preferably in Finance
• Fluent in spoken and written English

• At least 2 years of experience in a management consulting function, with additional 3 years of other business experience
• Preferably experience in pharmaceutical or similar industries
• Proven track record demonstrating strong analytical skills, business acumen, communication and presentation skills
• Able to work with tight deadlines
•Broad professional knowledge or skills in a single discipline or technical expertise in a specific scientific/technical field
• Awareness of the workings of the business beyond own team and some familiarity with the external environment as it affects own part of the organization
• Effective team player
